Orlando Halloween Events are less than a month away

Its early August and its time to start thinking of your Orlando Halloween events!

The events to research are:

2 Kids Events:

Disney World’s Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party

Pros: Loads of Candy, unique Parade, Fireworks, and meet and greets.

Cons: Separately ticketed 5 hour event starting at $62 for non-peak nights. This event CAN get rather busy, which is why Disney offers this event at early as September 1st. On peak nights the prices can go up to $77.

More Info: The event is held on Sunday, Tuesdays, and Fridays in September; and select days up to 4 days a week in October. You can get bags at the Magic Kingdom but we recommend bringing your own big bag and hit up the trick or treat trails. You will be set on candy for months!

Sea World Orlando’s Spooktacular

Pros: Included with the price of admission, free candy can be found by all. A fan favorite is also the seasonal show Sesame Street’s Count Down to Halloween. You can also meet Sea World characters dressed in Halloween costumes.

Cons: That is about it. The event is pretty small. Each “trick or treat” location tend to give out only one piece of candy so to really rack up on candy you have to put forth the effort.

More info: Event Runs Weekends in October.

The reason all the other parks only have kids events in Orlando:

Universal Orlando’s Halloween Horror Nights

Pros: Historically the best Horror event in the industry. Intellectual properties and unique original stories for mazes and scare zones, also two shows return this year.

Cons: Separately ticket event beginning at 6:30pm. Popular nights can boast queue lines for 2 hours or more. Express passes are available but on peak nights are listed as $109.99. Express Pass and Pricing Options

More Information can be found here. Event Begins every weekend and select nights starting Sept. 19th – Nov. 1st

You should start to see decorations for the event in early September but you will have to wait until after Universal’s Rock the Universe event on September 5th for most of the streetmosphere.
