Of all the places to visit, none is more magic to me than Walt Disney World. Having been numerous times as a child and several as an adult, I wanted to get back to see the completed renovation of Fantasyland. New Disney World passholder card gets you into parks faster

LAKE BUENA VISTA –  Getting into Walt Disney World just got easier for annual passholders. Wednesday, Disney unveiled a new card for passholders to replace their current paper passes. The new card takes advantage of the new touch-to-enter feature Disney has been adding to the theme parks’ entrance gates. A photo posted on the official Disney World Passholders’ Facebook account shows what appears to be a plastic card being swiped across a round sensor containing the iconic Mickey Mouse symbol. The last day for the Pixar Pals Countdown to Fun parade and the Disney Channel Rocks street show will be April 6, a Disney World spokeswoman confirms. Walt Disney World Announces Disney Springs Transformation for Downtown Disney

Yesterday the Walt Disney World Resort announced major changes coming to its Downtown Disney area of the resort. Dubbed Disney Springs, this multi-year, multi-phase transformation of the Downtown Disney area will bring new shops, restaurants, activities, and easier convenience to visit the area with consolidated bus areas and new multi-level parking decks. Walt Disney World Releases Information About MyMagic+, MagicBand

Yesterday, Walt Disney World Began released new information in the “NextGen” project on how guests would interact with the resort. Dubbed MyMagic+ featuring the MagicBand, annual passholders or guests staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel will receive a rubber wristband upon check-in. This wristband will do everything from control your hotel room door, act as your entry ticket to the parkts, to even telling meet-and-greet characters your name and if you’re celebrating anything this trip.
