Fun Spot America Opens Their New Expansion Area!


Today just after 5PM Fun Spot America opened their gates to the new back area of their new expansion. Although the coasters are not quite ready, there are new rides, such as the Enterprise (formally the Wheelie at Six Flags Over Georgia), Rip Tide, and Tilt – A- Whirl with new locations for the Paratrooper and the double decker carousel topped with the Statue of Liberty. SkyScreamer Opens at Six Flags Over Georgia

Yesterday Destination South was invited to attend the Media Day preview of Six Flags Over Georgia’s new for 2013 attraction, SkyScreamer. SkyScreamer is billed as a 24-story version of the popular Starflyer style ride. The ride is a tower in which 32 riders swing at 40 miles per hour. SkyScreamer takes the spot formerly occupied by the Wheelie, and will open to Gold Passholders this weekend (May 11-12). Today Universal finally announced what many in the theme park world have been anxiously awaiting: an all new expansion to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
