Zoo Atlanta has a lot of new baby news!

Zoo Atlanta announced on January 8th, that 2012 was the second best year in attendance in their 125 year history with 866,425 guests. Since that announcement Zoo Atlanta has released 3 major baby announcements in 3 days! On January 9th, the Zoo announced weaning has begun for Po the giant panda. On January 10th, the day Destination South visited Zoo Atlanta, Blaze, a 16-year-old Sumatran orangutan, gave birth to a male infant. The Zoo released a few pictures of the newborn, featured in this blog’s picture. And finally on January 11th, the Zoo announced the debut of their Eastern Bongo Calf. […]

Walt Disney World Releases Information About MyMagic+, MagicBand


Yesterday, Walt Disney World Began released new information in the “NextGen” project on how guests would interact with the resort. Dubbed MyMagic+ featuring the MagicBand, annual passholders or guests staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel will receive a rubber wristband upon check-in. This wristband will do everything from control your hotel room door, act as your entry ticket to the parkts, to even telling meet-and-greet characters your name and if you’re celebrating anything this trip. Fun Spot Orlando Adding Enterprise to Lineup: Wheelie from Six Flags Over Georgia


Fun Spot Orlando recently announced via their Facebook page that they will soon be adding an Enterprise ride to their lineup… and it’s none other than the Wheelie, which just retired from a 35 year run at Six Flags Over Georgia.  Wheelie fans, rejoice!  Orlando is just a hop, skip, and a jump from Georgia!
